October is here, which means delicious seasonal produce, holiday meals, and of course, beautiful scenery all around your 55 plus community in Virginia!  Trick-or-treat yourself to a trip to the Corner Patch Gardens with your friends and neighbors for some fall fun and feasting!

We’re very happy to say all our Corner Patch Garden Social events this year have been a spooktacular time in which homeowners have enjoyed building connections with each other and enjoying healthy and fresh gastronomical delights. You will not want to miss out on the last seasonal social cooking demonstration and tasting that is surely to be a gourd time. Join your friends and neighbors while you harvest seasonal produce and taste and learn new recipes to whip up in your kitchen. Sean, our Corner Patch Farmer,  is guaranteed to amaze you with his creative dishes from the garden. And, remember, Sean will remain here throughout the rest of the season tending to the garden and harvesting our fall produce.

Seasonal Fall Recipes

Salad: Season's End Salad (tomatoes, broccoli, zucchini, and pumpkin seeds)
Main Dish: Pumpkin Sweet Potato Fritters
Small plate: Root Crop Salad (sweet potatoes, beets, turnips, and rutabaga)
Dip: Pumpkin Dip
Mixer: Pumpkin Cider
Flavored Water: Raspberry Herb Water
