“There are so many benefits to living here!”   Karen and Bill chose Chickahominy Falls because of location to family and the homes were the perfect fit for their soon to be retired lifestyle.  And they loved the view of the pond!  

“We looked at other plans, but the Washington had so many features that were important to us,” mentioned Karen.  Living on one floor was top on the list, the dining room location was ideal, and having a lower level with an additional guest bedroom, full bath, and recreation area provided the perfect spot for her sister, daughter, and grandkids to visit. And, of course, her husband to watch football games, his favorite pastime!    

Karen and Bill have lived in more than 10 homes but this was their first brand new home.   The decision making process of choosing all the selections and options was a bit overwhelming.   “We were blessed to work with Lori Melton, Cornerstone’s Design Consultant, with her expertise and design knowledge she made this process delightfully smooth and helpful,” said Karen.   

“The construction team kept us up to date and provided helpful meetings throughout the process. They were also very accommodating during a little bump in the road regarding our bay window!  Everyone, starting with the sales process with Greg, have been extremely helpful and patient!”

Karen and Bill closed on their home and are moving in slowly.   They are already getting involved and have joined the community Facebook page, attended several food truck happy hours and met many of their neighbors.   “The people! They are so helpful.  The spirit of the place, how kind everyone is!”
