An Inside Look - Building Your Home
Building a new home, while complex, is very exciting! At Cornerstone Homes, we make sure to support you and keep you informed every step of the way. We met with one of Cornerstone’s Construction Managers for our weekly Tuesday at Two interview series. We give you a firsthand look at the process of construction with Cornerstone Homes, working with our trades, and making sure our homes are ready for you on move-in day!
As a homebuyer with Cornerstone, you will get the opportunity to get to know your construction manager during personal meetings throughout the construction of your home and weekly progress reports with the sales and construction team together. We want to make sure you are in the loop and your home is built just the way you want! For more details about your “path to ownership” steps, click here.
The Development team is responsible for getting all the infrastructure in place (roads, curbs, etc.) and then turns the wheel over to the construction team. Cornerstone can have as many as 30 homes under construction at one time in a community. And, there may be more than 60 – 80 trades on site at one time throughout various stages of construction. With our many years of experience, you can rest assured our construction teams have this process moving along like a well-oiled machine!
